The goal of the Invest in Her® Foundation is to move the needle on women’s
issues, one woman/girl at a time, by providing grants to organizations and
initiatives that align with our mission.
Empathy
Imagine traveling down bumpy roads and witnessing the extremes of poverty contrasted by inspiring potential, while forging deep connections with people halfway around the world. Then coming together to listen and learn, and eventually, work together to mindfully rebuild an orphanage for girls in Indonesia.
Inspiration
It was such a journey, more than a decade ago, that inspired the Invest in Her® Foundation. This experience, combined with many years of volunteer work relating to issues facing women and girls, led to a powerful insight – Investing in Her is the key. To take action, no matter how small, in creating a world where women thrive and flourish, will advance all of humanity.
Action
The Invest in Her® Foundation is driven to propel positive change in a woman’s individual growth, so she can nurture healthy families and communities. Ideally, the roots of this support begin as a young child, so each girl is equipped and empowered to reach their full potential.
Focus
We believe that even small strategic investments can spark meaningful change. With a focus on investing strategically in “enabling initiatives” such as educational opportunities, entrepreneurial pursuits, and economic stability, the Invest in Her® Foundation is centered around the advancement of gender equality, one girl/woman at a time. The foundation also aims to be a connector and contributor for national and global women’s issues.
The Invest in Her® Foundation was founded by Marne Keller-Krikava in 2018 after years of philanthropic work both in her community and beyond. Following a successful corporate career, she is now dedicating her professional and charitable efforts to the empowerment of women within the United States and globally.
